Opened in 2023, run by partners.
Bhungro Thakali opened in Hupra Chaur, Hetauda in 2023. Thakali food is in the name and on every table, but the kitchen cooks much more: Nepali favourites, momo, grills, Asian wok dishes and pizza.
Food is made fresh every day, and the chicken is local and free-range.

When are you open?
Every day, 10 AM to 10 PM. Last orders are at 9:30 PM. Closed during Dashain and Tihar.
Can I book a table?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp at 976-8412213, or call 057-590285, and we will hold one for you.
Is it only Thakali food?
No. Thakali and Nepali plates sit next to momo, grills, Asian wok dishes, pizza and burgers.
Is there parking?
Yes, for cars and bikes, at the Hupra Chaur main gate.
Do you do takeaway?
Yes. Call 057-590285 ahead and collect.
Do you deliver?
Through Hungry Nepal and Mero Kinmel.
Can I hold a party or event?
Yes. The private hall seats 40 to 50 for birthdays, office parties and family functions. Call to arrange it.
